What you need
A Syderial account with access to a workspace, and Claude or ChatGPT. Humans and agents work from the same record, so the connector answers from what your account can read, and it records what you ask it to record.
Connect in Claude
- Open Connectors in Claude and add a remote connector.
- Enter the connection URL:
https://mcp.syderial.ai/mcp - Complete the sign-in. Claude sends you to Syderial; sign in with your account at console.syderial.ai and approve the connection once.
Connect in ChatGPT
- Add the MCP server
https://mcp.syderial.ai/mcpto your ChatGPT app. - Complete the same sign-in with your Syderial account and approve the connection once.
What you can ask for
Search with cited sources. Ask a question and get an answer with a citation for each line, for example: find the decisions about a project you work on.
Read the source behind a result. Open the cited source for any result and read the exact text the record drew on.
Record the work you ask for. Dictate updates and have them posted as journal entries in the right workspace, each line citing its evidence.
Request access changes. Ask for access or structure changes and approve them once, in plain words.
Permissions and approvals
Reads need no approval. Structure and access changes need your approval once, in plain words; other writes follow your workspace policy. You see only the records your account is allowed to read, and withheld material is named by count, not content.
Approvals arrive in Needs you in the Syderial console, or on your phone through the signed-in app. A write is posted only after the approval it names, and the receipt shows both the entry and the approval.
Reconnecting
A connection can lapse after a long idle period. When that happens, the client asks you to reconnect: sign in again at console.syderial.ai and the connection resumes. Your workspace and its records are unchanged by a lapse.
